Integrated healthcare system Orlando Health has joined forces with the physician-led Watson Clinic to provide exceptional care for Polk County. The collaboration will be highlighted with the new Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital, opening in summer 2026.
The hospital will feature state-of-the-art design, next-generation technologies, and a comprehensive scope of specialized programs and services. Key programs will include cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, obstetrics, surgery and surgical oncology. The facility will open with more than 300 inpatient beds, 69 emergency and observation beds, 11 operating rooms, four cardiac and interventional suites, and an 18-bed intensive care unit that will grow to 36 beds.
