Our purpose is to organize and maintain an orchestra for volunteer musicians of varying musical backgrounds from the surrounding region to perform free musical programs for our own enjoyment as well as for the enjoyment and education of the community.
We are not just a recreational orchestra, we are a performance orchestra. We also are committed to assisting educational institutions within the area in promoting music education and appreciation programs by providing opportunities for qualified students to perform and fostering the further development of music in the region.
