Lakeland Regional Health has recently welcomed the following new providers to the medical staff. All providers listed below are accepting patients for care. Cardiology/Electrophysiology – Amanda Tilton, APRN Amanda Tilton, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in cardiology and electrophysiology. She brings extensive experience from the Surgical/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, including caring for patients undergoing open-heart surgery and those with heart attacks, pacemakers, and other complex cardiovascular conditions. Tilton earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Keiser University. Prior to becoming an APRN, she worked as a registered nurse at Lakeland Regional Health in the Surgical/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular/Thoracic Step-Down Unit. Endocrinology – Asadullah Jat, MD Dr. Asadullah Jat is an endocrinologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the endocrine system. He is board-certified in internal medicine and brings a strong foundation in adult medicine to the diagnosis and management of endocrine conditions. He earned his medical degree from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Pakistan and completed his internal medicine residency at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. He completed his endocrinology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Before pursuing his endocrinology fellowship, Jat worked as a hospitalist and served in physician leadership roles.
