Central Florida Health Care invites you to celebrate care, comfort, and compassion at the 3rd annual “Classy & Comfy Gala” on October 7, 2026, from 6–9 p.m. at Adams Estate in Lake Alfred. This year’s event will be presented with generous support from MidFlorida Credit Union, the premier “Heart of Gold” sponsor. As a nonprofit community health center, Central Florida Health Care provides comprehensive healthcare to anyone who needs it, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. That mission makes CFHC an essential resource for families across Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties, especially those who may otherwise go without timely medical, dental, behavioral health, or specialty care. We now have 19 health centers and are continuing to grow. Guests can look forward to a jazz band, fine wine and spirits, delicious cuisine, and opportunities to support expanded access to care. Proceeds from the gala will help advance two major facility projects in Lakeland and Winter Haven, replacing existing buildings with modern spaces designed to serve more patients, providers, and services. Both facilities will include a Diabetes Center of Excellence. The future Lakeland Primary location will also include adult medical, behavioral health, OB/GYN, pharmacy, and bring pediatric and dental services together in one location. The future Winter Haven Primary location will also combine key services, including medical, pediatrics, OB-GYN, behavioral health, pharmacy, the call center, and administration. In 2025-2026 fiscal year, Central Florida Health Care served 85,433 patients, received 289,295 visits and sold 421,666 prescriptions. We hope you will join us and help support our mission. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to RSVP by September 25, 2026, at devcom@cfhconline.org. The dress is all-white attire. Founded in 1972, Central Florida Health Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Communities. Our goal is simple - to provide high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare services to all, regardless of ability to pay. Our 19 sites include adult and pediatric primary care, dental care, behavioral health, OB/GYN, lab, X-ray, pharmacy, dermatology, endocrinology, optometry, and rheumatology services. At the core of all that we do is provide every person with an opportunity to experience "Healthcare with a Heart."
