Lakeland Regional Health has recently welcomed the following new providers to the medical staff. All providers listed below are accepting patients for care. Behavioral Health – Altagrace Korine Souverain, LCSW Altagrace Souverain, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in behavioral health services for adolescents and adults. She provides compassionate, patient-centered care and has expertise in trauma-informed care, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), child-parent relationship therapy (CPRT), family therapy, and helping patients navigate life transitions and other personal challenges. Souverain earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. She is fluent in Creole. She sees patients at the One Lakeland Square location. Infectious Disease – Sunitha Suresh, MD Dr. Sunitha Suresh is a board-certified infectious disease physician with more than 20 years’ experience caring for patients with complex infectious diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She specializes in diagnosing and treating complex infectious diseases, including orthopedic and device-related infections, HIV, fungal infections, and the care of immunocompromised patients. Suresh earned her medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College at Madras University in India. She completed her internal medicine residency and served as chief resident at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Pennsylvania before completing her fellowship in infectious disease at Maine Medical Center. Orthopedic Surgery – Jessica Hamilton, PA-C Jessica Hamilton, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in orthopedic surgery and caring for patients with sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. She provides comprehensive orthopedic care in both clinic and hospital settings, including evaluating patients, assisting with surgery, and managing post-operative recovery. Hamilton earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University Tampa and her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida.
