BRANDON, Fla. (December 5, 2022) - HCA Florida Brandon Hospital has appointed Monique Polege, MBA, BSN, RN, as vice president of operations, effective December 5, 2022. In this role, Polege will support the day-to-day operations of Brandon Hospital and will work closely with the administration team to support clinical service lines and ancillary departments. Polege has nearly 10 years of healthcare leadership experience – all with HCA Florida Healthcare. She previously served as director of surgical services at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital where she oversaw 10 departments and was responsible for the daily operations and management of surgical cases, surgeon satisfaction, operating room performance metrics, productivity, expenses and more. “Monique brings with her a wealth of experience and an impressive background in healthcare administration,” said Tripp Owings, chief executive officer at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. “We are excited to welcome her to the team and look forward to working with her in her new role at Brandon Hospital.” Polege holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate in Science in Nursing from Pasco Hernando State College.
