Gospel, Inc. celebrated the completion of 48 new housing units with a Ribbon Cutting! Community members gathered to mark this important expansion, which will allow the organization to serve more of Lakeland’s homeless neighbors. Guests enjoyed light refreshments and toured the newly completed buildings. About: Gospel, Inc. is a Christ-centered community providing a home and micro-enterprise work opportunities to the formerly homeless here in Lakeland. We believe in the transforming power that is held in community and we help the formerly chronically homeless find their purpose and healing in the community of Gospel Village. Gospel Village is a place where residents can begin again, continue living life with dignity and gain support and traction from what has kept them on the streets for years. Unlike many other programs, we are not a transitional program. We are a place of permanence that offers wrap-around services and connects residents to much needed support and resources to help the healing process.
