In a season known for parades and pints, two local senior living communities – Azalea Park in Lakeland and Belleair Towers in Clearwater – are bringing a little Irish spirit home to the Tampa Bay region – with a charitable twist. On March 17, both communities will host Shamrocks and Shenanigans, a St. Patrick’s Day celebration benefiting a local charitable organization through raffle proceeds. Both events run from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and are open to residents, their families, local seniors and community partners. Guests can expect spirited entertainment alongside a chef-prepared Irish menu of Guinness stew, shepherd’s pie and Bailey’s Irish cream cake, plus Irish beer and festive beverages.
