Polk State College is slated to host open house events on both campuses and the JD Alexander Center during the Spring 2026 Semester. Prospective students and families are invited to tour campuses, meet faculty and staff, learn about academic programs and student life, complete college applications, receive assistance with applying for financial aid, enter to win scholarships and more. During the events, attendees can also receive information on specific programs offered by the College, including Business, Education, Engineering Technology and Health Sciences. The Lakeland Campus at 3425 Winter Lake Road will host the first open house event of the semester on March 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lakeland Technology Building (LTB) 1100. The JD Alexander Center in Lake Wales at 152 E. Central Ave. will host its open house on March 26. Open house is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in JDA 101. Open house on the Winter Haven Campus will take place April 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 999 Ave. H N.E. in the Health Center Gymnasium.
