Cardiology – Joel Fernandez, MD Dr. Joel Fernandez is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist with decades of experience both as a practicing physician and a faculty member of the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He specializes in advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, and cardiomyopathies, with a focus on cardiac amyloidosis and nuclear cardiology. Fernandez earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Kelly Roberts, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in orthopedic care. Her clinical expertise includes casting, X-ray interpretation, assisting with invasive and non-invasive pain management techniques, patient counseling on therapeutic regimens and perioperative care in surgical settings.
Roberts earned her master’s degree in nursing from Florida Southern College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Pediatrics – Brittney Robinson, APRN
Brittney Robinson, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in pediatrics. In addition to preventive and primary care, she has experience treating children in a variety of clinical settings, including gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT) and acute care. She is dedicated to partnering with patients and their families, creating an open dialogue, and offering guidance that helps them take an active role in their health.
Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Florida in Gainesville, then completed her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
