Rita Staffing is a full-service staffing agency, offering temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire placements across professional, clerical, and light industrial/warehouse roles. With offices in Lakeland, Winter Haven, and Plant City, they primarily serve the Central Florida area—helping employers find the best talent and offer the flexibility they need to reach their goals while also assisting candidates in finding the right job. Being named Small Business of the Month is especially meaningful to the team. “We have been locally owned and operated for over 52 years and have been members of the Lakeland Chamber for the majority of that time," said Lisa Hall in their SBOTM interview. Community impact is at the heart of their work. Their Rita Cares committee supports temporary employees and local nonprofits, including filling holiday wish lists, providing work attire, organizing school supply drives, packing meals for Kids Pack, and supporting drives for Toys for Tots, Rudolph Round Up, SPCA, and more. As a Chamber member for approximately 50 years, they value networking and referrals: “We love networking with fellow chamber members at the various events. We appreciate the referrals we get from other chamber members and staff.” This year, Rita Staffing was awarded 1st place in the 2025 Community Choice Awards for Best Employment Agency, marking their 10th consecutive win. They are also proud to be a woman-owned business with a team whose experience sets them apart: “Most of our management team have been with us for over 20 years," said Hall. Congratulations again!
