POLK COUNTY, FL (April 12, 2023) - Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards is hosting information meetings for anyone interested in serving as an election worker. The one-hour meetings will be held:
• April 20th at 6pm at the Election Operations Center: 70 Florida Citrus Blvd. in Winter Haven
• April 27th at 10am at the Civic Center: 901 NE 5th Street in Mulberry
Attendees will learn how to apply for temporary paid positions, including working at polling sites.
Seats are limited, so it is highly recommended for interested applicants to reserve their spot. Attendeesshould also bring along their valid Florida ID and Social Security card for payroll purposes. Voters who have served as election workers in Polk County in recent years are welcome, but do not need to attend.
