Somos Church continues to deepen its role as a trusted community partner in Polk County, dedicating time, resources, and encouragement to support students, teachers, and staff throughout the 2024–2025 school year. With a vision to serve beyond Sunday mornings, the church has invested more than 500 hours on local school campuses through coaching, volunteering, and event support. Highlights of Somos Church’s impact this school year include: • 500 hours spent on school campuses coaching sports, volunteering, and assisting with events • 60 students coached in basketball, cross country, volleyball, and soccer • 500 handwritten letters of encouragement provided to teachers • 400 meals served to teachers and staff during back-to-school, Thanksgiving week, and Teacher Appreciation Week • 28,000 meals packed for students through KidsPack By investing in local schools, Somos Church demonstrates how faith and service can come together to create lasting impact in Polk County.
