Lakeland, Florida — After 40 years of dedicated service as a nurse, Dr. Althea McLeish, known to many as The Money Nurse, has officially passed the Series 65 exam, earning the title of Financial Advisor. Along this milestone, Dr. McLeish will be retiring from her nursing career in December and transitioning full-time into financial services. Dr. McLeish began her journey as a financial coach in 2017, following a personal financial setback that fueled her passion for financial education. Since then, she has obtained multiple licenses and certifications, helping individuals and families build stronger financial foundations. The passing of the Series 65 marks a significant step forward, allowing her to provide advisory and managed accounts services nationwide. “As a nurse, I’ve spent my life caring for people’s health.
