Lakeland Regional Health Welcomes New Providers

Lakeland, FL – Lakeland Regional Health has recently welcomed the following new providers to their medical staff. All providers listed below are accepting patients for care.

 Orthopedics - Larry Padgett, MD

His specific areas of expertise include arthroscopy, shoulder and elbow surgery, and knee ligament reconstruction. He also has extensive experience serving as the head team physician for major and minor league baseball teams, and for college and high school athletic programs.

Dr. Padgett was the lead investigator and developer of the Cannulated Bone Mulch Screw fixation device, which is used for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgeries.

Dr. Padgett earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and an arthroscopy and sports medicine fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia.

Orthopedics - Rachel Padgett, APRN

Gastroenterology- Jennifer Frasier, APRN

Pediatrics- Shawnese McLeod, APRN
