It’s time to save the date for Central Florida Health Care’s second annual “Classy & Comfy Gala!” which will take place October 9, 2025, from 6-9 pm at Adams Estate in Lake Alfred. The enchanting evening will raise funds to build two vital health centers in Lakeland and Winter Haven. The gala includes entertainment, fine wine and spirits, delicious cuisine, and it’s all for a meaningful cause. Central Florida Health Care is in the midst of a 30-million-dollar campaign to help with the new Lakeland Primary Health Center and Winter Haven Primary. Both projects will replace existing buildings to pave the way for more patients, providers, and services. The future Lakeland Primary location will include a Diabetes Center for Excellence and a teaching kitchen, bringing together pediatric and dental services currently operating in two other facilities. The future Winter Haven Primary will also combine services, including medical, pediatrics, OB-GYN, behavioral health, the call center, and administration. In 2024, Central Florida Health Care saw nearly 80 thousand patients throughout its 16 health centers and received more than 268 thousand visits. The 17th health center, Bartow Pediatrics, opened in June 2025. Central Florida Health Care provides healthcare to anyone, regardless of their ability to pay, which is an essential resource for many families without insurance. Anyone interested in attending the event is encouraged to RSVP by September 25, 2025, at devcom@cfhconline.org. The dress is all white attire.
