TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is ready to kick off Movers for Moms 2025!
Giving back to the community has been a long tradition at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. In fact, it’s been a focus since the company began in the 1980s. Movers for Moms® is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s national giving program aimed at assisting moms in need. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations nationwide collect donations to deliver to women’s and family shelters each spring. Franchises partner with various organizations to collect these items to make Mother’s Day special for all moms, regardless of their circumstances.
How the program works TWO MEN AND A TRUCK U.S. locations partner with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to collect essential care items, such as soap and shampoo, for women staying in domestic abuse or homeless shelters. Once all donations are collected, our move teams pick up and sort the items. Then around Mother's Day they deliver the donations to their shelter partners. Locally, this initiative helps provide essential care items to the families at Peace River Center Victim Services.
Investing in moms everywhere TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has a strong influence from women in various roles, and this is our way of showing appreciation for the efforts of all moms. In 2024, we were able to collect and donate more than 430,000 items to local shelters supporting women!
2024 Results Movers for Moms® was a national program in 48 states; all franchise locations participated, supporting hundreds of shelters across the U.S. Movers for Moms® collected 431,403 items in 2024! This generous donation brings us to a total of more than 2 million donated items throughout our 17-year program history! Movers for Moms® partnered with more than 1,400 businesses, schools, and other community collection sites across the U.S. If you’re interested in supporting the program as a collection site, or would like to donate items locally, please email Movers4Moms@twomen.com.
How to participate Donation boxes will be dropped off on March 10th, and the Lakeland Chamber will serve as a dropoff location. We will be collecting items through May 9th.

Clothing - New undergarments (underwear, sportsbras) for men, women, and children - Comfortable clothing (sweaters,sweatpants) for all ages (no drawstrings) - Socks & flip flops - Clothing & shoes for teens - Shawls & light jackets
Hygiene & Personal Care - Full-size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner,deodorant, body wash/soap,toothpaste) - Hair care products (including for peopleof color) - Dry shampoo, hand sanitizer, combs &brushes - Diapers & wipes
Food & Household Essentials - Bottled water & granola bars - Blankets, towels, & bedding - Household supplies (toilet paper, papertowels, detergent, cleaning products, dishsoap, trash bags)
Entertainment & Activities - Games & puzzles (UNO!, Monopoly,Scrabble, Connect Four, playing cards,word search books) - Coloring & activity books for all ages - Sports balls (basketballs, four square, Nerf footballs, kickballs)
Gift Cards & Miscellaneous - Gas, hotel, & general gift cards (for teens,pet stores, etc.) - Backpacks - Plants & nursery supplies
