On December 12, 2024, the Lakeland Chamber's Women's Business Council partnered with Academy Prep Center of Lakeland to host Thursday Tea at Academy Prep-an event which introduced guests to the school, its mission, and vision. Our Women's Business Council members assisted with decorations, supplies, and setup for the high tea.
Speakers during high tea service included: Andrea Oliver, Advancement Director, who provided an introduction and overview of the school; Monica Pollock, Head of School, who discussed the school’s mission and core values; and Rich Grandy, who provided information on graduate support and ways the community can support students. Richard Hayes, Music Teacher, also led musical performances, and Dr. Anna Toms conducted tours of the school.
