Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome the latest addition to their team of expert registered nurse practitioners.
Melissa L. Welch, APRN treats patients of board-certified Internal Medicine specialist Stephen G. Swengros, MD from Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Road 540A in south Lakeland. Welch received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Keiser University in Lakeland, FL, and her Master of Science in Nursing Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. She has 24 years of clinical experience and has previously worked in Watson Clinic’s Orthopaedic Surgery, Nurse Clinic, Administration departments and as a regional team leader. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
