Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, in partnership with the Polk County Veteran’s Council, will present the 2024 Memorial Day Tribute at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 2125 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801 on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. featuring geust speaker Florida State Representative Jennifer Canady. Music will be provides by Pastor Caleb Skinner and bagpiper Paul Macleish. Officiating the service will be Pastor Richard Piatt II. Coloring activities will also be available for the children. A complimentary lunch catered by 2nd Hand Smoke will follow the Tribute. Guests are invited to pay tribute to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. A "Wall of Honor" will be on display spotlighting communiuty members and loved ones who have served and are serving in the Armed Forces. The community is invited to drop off photographs at Lakeland Funderal Home& Memorial Gardens, Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm, no later than Monday, May 22. This is a FREE community event open to all in Polk County and beyond.
