Lakeland: SPCA Florida is hosting Pitties and Kitties, a spay and neuter day for personal pitbull-type dogs and personal cats.
The event will offer spay and neuter services for 120 income-qualified residents of Polk County, with fees of $45.00 for cats and $75.00 for dogs. Dogs and cats will receive a spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, and an e-collar.
Surgery openings are still available for healthy male kittens that are a minimum of 8 weeks old and 2 pounds or male adult felines.
The Pitties and Kitties spay and neuter day is this Friday, March 15th.
SPCA Florida is committed to low cost spay and neuter services for the residents of Polk County in an effort to reduce unwanted births and overpopulation.
