Harrison School for the Arts is pleased to present the Symphony Strings Concert on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the main theatre. The concert will feature the Harrison Chamber and Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as small chamber ensembles. We are excited to welcome back three Harrison alumni to perform with the current students. Andrew Stewart and Dennis Fleitz (orchestra department class of 2020) will perform with the orchestra on the Concerto for Two Cellos by Antonio Vivaldi. Both Dennis and Andrew are finishing up their undergraduate degree in music performance from the University of Central Florida. This concert will also feature a world premiere performance of a work by Harrison alum Erica Porter (piano department class of 2014). Erica is now working as a composer based in Los Angeles. The work is entitled “To See A Change” and is about social injustice. Her website is https://ericalporter.com/.
