Polk County voters who are eligible to participate in the March 19th Republican Presidential Preference Primary Election have three easy ways to vote, according to Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards. 1. Vote the traditional way. Polling locations will be open from 7 am until 7 pm Election Day. 2. Vote by Mail. Requests can be made by calling the Elections Office or visiting PolkElections.gov. The last day voters can request a mail ballot to be mailed for this election is Thursday, March 7th. All mail ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 pm on Election Day. 3. Vote early. Voting will be available at ten convenient locations around Polk County from March 4th through March 16th. Early voting hours are from 10 am until 6 pm.
