Floridians will have the opportunity to make their choice for Presidential candidates on March 19th, but only members of the Republican party are eligible to cast a ballot. Florida is one of 8 states that have closed primary elections. Only registered Republicans are eligible to vote in the Republican Presidential Preference Primary. Voters wishing to participate in the Republican Presidential Preference Primary are encouraged to double-check their party affiliation in advance.
