Lakeland, FL (February 21, 2023): The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce congratulates Help(her) as the January 2023 Small Business of the Month. Help(her) was founded by Teresa O’Brien to connect individuals and businesses who need to check off their to-do lists with qualified hourly workers called “Help(her)s.” This hourly, on-demand model has provided many small businesses and individuals with the extra help they need to accomplish big things. And, the Help(her) model centers around a community of women who have skills, resources and time to offer.
Each month, the Chamber’s Small Business Awards Committee honors one small business that has a significant and continuing positive effect on the Lakeland community through professional and personal leadership, service to the community and ethical practice.
