The world is entering the 4th Industrial Revolution. The 4th industrial revolution is described as the rapid technological advancements in manufacturing led by cloud technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and additive manufacturing (3-D printing). Additive Manufacturing is the construction of a 3-dimensional part made from a computer-aided design. The part is made by depositing layers of metal microns on top of each other and then having the layers fused together by a laser. To be a leader in the 4th revolution, Valiant Products, Inc, located in Lakeland, Florida has installed a Velo3D Sapphire metal printer. The new large-scale printer is calibrated for Inconel 718, a nickel-based high strength, corrosion resistant superalloy which is commonly used to make parts for the aerospace industry. As an ITAR-registered contract manufacturer, Valiant Products has extensive experience working with some of the most advanced companies in the aerospace and defense industries that have adopted Velo3D’s technology. Valiant’s full suite of services also includes heat treatment, precision machining, wire EDM and conventional sheet metal fabrication. “Our team at Valiant is dedicated to providing the best manufacturing technologies to our customers so we can produce the highest quality parts from the most complex designs,” said Bob English, Founder and CEO of Valiant Products, Inc. Velo3D Vice President of Global Business Development and Sales, Zach Murphree said. “With their proximity to the Cape Canaveral launch pads, they will be a great resource for the aerospace industry. We expect many of our existing customers will utilize them for their supply chain needs. Based on Valiant’s innovative customer base, I’m certain they will utilize the complete capabilities of our fully integrated solution.” About Valiant Products Valiant Products has a 70,000 square foot manufacturing space located in Central Florida.
