Harrison School for the Arts to present "all-school musical"

Harrison School for the Arts will be presenting their all-school musical, Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella

This musical is a timeless story, told across cultures and borders, receives a new, contemporary twist. Ella, a dreamer with a pure heart, is forced to cater to the whims of her scheming stepmother and selfish stepsisters. Topher, a young man with high expectations, longs for excitement and meaning in his life. When the two meet at a royal ball, their worlds are turned upside down. With the help of political advisors, fairy godmothers, and social activists, Ella and Topher discover that "impossible things are happening every day". Cinderella reminds us of the importance of optimism, the magic of community, and the power in persevering beyond our circumstances.

Showtimes start Nov. 2, 3, 4 at 7:00 p.m., and Nov. 5 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $18 adults, $16 students/seniors and may be purchased at www.harrisonarts.com.

Harrison School for the Arts is located at 750 Hollingsworth Rd., Lakeland, FL 33801.
