The Watson Clinic Foundation is hosting the upcoming Healthy in Pink Social, a free event devoted to breast cancer education and community empowerment. The centerpiece of this year’s event will be a presentation from Anita Cochran, the acclaimed country music singer and songwriter whose breast cancer journey inspired her to write the hit single “Fight Like a Girl”. Attendees will also enjoy an interactive Q & A with Elisabeth L. Dupont, MD, a board-certified breast surgeon at the Watson Clinic Women’s Center and Medical Director of Breast Health Services, alongside a panel of additional Watson Clinic cancer specialists. A light buffet dinner and valet parking will also be offered during the event. The Healthy in Pink Social will take place on Thursday, October 19 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Lone Palm Golf Club, at 800 Lone Palm Drive in Lakeland.
