On Tuesday, September 19, Southeastern University’s American Center for Political Leadership will host a Constitution Day event. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Buena Vida West Auditorium. Former state representative and attorney Kevin Ambler will be the featured speaker.
Ambler’s presentation is titled “How Do We Keep Justice in America?” He will discuss the law school experience, the independence of the judiciary and the sanctity of the U.S. Constitution.
Ambler served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010. He is currently an adjunct professor for Stetson University College of Law, where he has been working for the past 12 years.
Ambler holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California.
He has served as a judge advocate for the Air Force in a number of different positions. Throughout the 1990s, he ran a private practice and eventually opened his own law firm, the Ambler Law Group.
