Are you a Lakeland business? We would love your involvement in our school's upcoming career fair on Friday, April 28th from 10AM-12PM. This event will be geared towards 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students from Excel Christian Academy and other participating schools in the area. We are planning on having 200 students attend this event, and are looking to include 25-30 businesses/organizations. We are hoping to foster and build mutually beneficial community partnerships that can lead to internship and employment opportunities for qualified students. We can provide 6ft tables and chairs for displays. Other accommodations will have to be requested in advance. Additionally, we are seeking speakers to come in and present to the students throughout that week (4/24-4/27) on topics related to career readiness/exploration. Ideally we will have representation from a variety of industries to touch on all of our students' diverse interests.
