Great place for family and kids. Owner does her best and is excellent for handling situations. She can't fix something you don't bring to her attention. Kids will be kids. Great environment!

Just left there from having my daughters 10th birthday party. We did the mega bash/private party. This was definitely a party to remember. The manager and staff there were super accommodating and very sweet to my daughter. It was definitely worth the extra money for the private party! We will do it again!!

I had a great time at skate world, the nerf battles were amazing. My daughter had a great time absolutely blasting one of the employees who casually joined in, it was the greatest. the bizarre part was that he went by Dustin Scipio and would not answer if I just asked for Dustin. Anyhow. Great experience and great food. Will certainly tell everyone about this place!

Skateworld is THE place to take your kids for a great time and great exercise! Awesome music, a stocked concession stand, and a super friendly staff make spending the evening or afternoon a pleasure! You can also book private parties! There's no better place to have a kids' birthday party!

I visit this place almost on a weekly base. I'm always happy to bring my kids there and some time I will bring some of his friends to. Very clean and friendly service even when my kids can be a handful there always there to make them have the best time possible..

Great place to go skating. The floor surface is INCREDIBLY smooth and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The only downside is that whole place can feel a little cramped, depending on how many people are there. If multiple birthday parties are going it can be hard to maneuver around in the non-skating area or to find a place to sit down. There is barely room for two people to walk abreast from the door to the skate rental area because you have to navigate your way through the tightly-spaced snack bar tables.

There is no good out-of-the way spot to help a beginner. But they do have PVC "Skate Mates" for rent that kids can use like rolling walkers to help get the feel for it.

Even the floor feels a little small, but it makes up for it in quality. My daughter, a beginner, got scared that people were whizzing by her too closely and some even bumped into her. She prefers the much larger, but substantially less classy, Skate Zone in Winter Haven for that reason alone. For all other purposes, Skate World is superior.

Go on a slow day, and your experience will be darn near perfect. Go when it's busy, and you'll have to tolerate being in close quarters with a bunch of other people wisely looking for the same perfect experience there.
