Good Thyme

I had a decent meal here but if you haven't been before you're not exactly sure how to do things, making it awkward. You go to one window to order and hang out along a railing til your order is called. Your choice is outdoor picnic tables or to do. There is no interior except for food prep, you don't see models of food prior to ordering. People seem to have favorites and it's more popular with the young. There is ample parking despite it being in an alley. It's near Concord Coffee & Union Hall/Feasts of Persia. My street corn side was pretty small & non-descript. My chicken salad wrap was well stocked but not a fave chicken salad. I enjoyed trying it out and may or may not try something else if in the area. I never see socialmedia bout them, which might up their marketing game.

Stir fry was unfortunately not very flavorful and chicken was dry :( Lavender blueberry kombucha was good tho

Had the pleasure of visiting Good Thymes in Lakeland, FL.
Such a great place for breakfast and lunch. I can see why the locals love it here. They have so many options to choose from. It's a hidden gem that you will be delighted to find. Come by and visit them Monday through Saturday. If interested, they also do catering for special events. Kaelani ( manager- last picture) and Staff will be more than happy to serve you.

What would we do with our Good Thyme?
We live nearby and while our kitchen has been torn out for a renovation, we have leaned *heavily* on their breakfasts and lunch options.
The great thing about GT is that they're food is fresh cooked and they package up to go orders very quickly.
Some of our faves are:
*biscuits with egg and cheese
*BLT
*breakfast tacos
*chilaquiles
*veggie burrito
*stir fry

Good Thyme is a hidden gem in Lakeland. Fast casual style service. Very convenient ordering ahead from toasttab app. The food is always delicious and is priced fairly.
Love the chicken biscuit and if you like spice, try it Nashville hot style. The breakfast burrito is one of the best I've ever had! Try it with the house made hot sauce!

Over priced, small entree sizes, and the preparation takes a very long time. Just finished lunch and now we have to go find more food somewhere else because the portions were too small.

The outdoor seating was nice.

Dined 6/23/2022. This is a small facility that offers outside counter service for breakfast (7 - 10 a.m.) , lunch (11 a.m. - 3 p.m.) and in-between (10 - 11 a.m.).

Having eaten at other operations in this location (Fat Maggies', D'Luca's), it's probably not a bad way to go. It was always small and noisy inside, with seating for about 20 at most and cramped quarters at that. Now, the building is devoted to the kitchen; orders at the window on the south face, pickup at the window on the east face. This is a great idea for this location.

It's okay to dine at the property, there are picnic tables & a long bar with umbrellas & chairs when it's nice, but it is convenient for takeaway service.

I had the BLT from the lunch menu, nicely prepared bacon, good tomatos, lettuce, not too much mayo, quality bread, excellent. The half-cup side of black beans almost stole the show, prepared with garlic & cumin, red chiles, better than normal, I wish I'd thought to ask if fresh onion was possible. I carried away at about 11:30, ate at home & back to work, I was satiated all afternoon.

The rest of the menu (goodthymelkld.com) looks intriguing so we'll have to try other items next visit. Oh, yes, there will be a next visit. Excellent food, quickly prepared, easy ordering and pick up,

The best kept secret in Lakeland. It's quaint and has delicious, healthy take out options! Nestled right behind Concord coffee is a hip hole in the wall cafe with outdoor shaded seating.

Dietary restrictions- say no more- GLUTEN FREE, vegan and vegetarian options available!

Daily specials available - don't forget to ask about those- I got the breakfast tacos!

Breakfast tacos- egg, I subbed chorizo for bacon, potatoes, salsa, cilantro On corn tortillas that didn't call apart with hot sauce on the side ! Delish! FYI 3 tacos will cost ya about $10 with tax- plenty of food for 1! Could have even shared a taco with my toddler if she was with me :)

Excellent customer service!

The food was really full of flavors and fresh. I usually eat meat but I tried the stir fry noodles, vegetarian style and it was amazing. My daughter loved the vegetarian burrito. We definitely had left overs. The staff was so friendly and super helpful. No sit in but plenty of outside space.

Being that its 2023, i like to actually enjoy the food i pay for especially since everything costs so much now. We ordered the steak sandwich and the chicken stir fry. The food was not horrible, it just also wasnt worth the money. We also got a kids grilled cheese and 3 drinks, the total ended up to about $70 plus a tip??? (Ive been a server for several years and even i find it ridiculous to ask for a tip at places like this). Every time we go to concord we talk about going here but now we can cross that off our list. Totally disappointed.
